1. How do I top up my eSIM?

Top up options will be offered soon. Currently, we will notify you when your data plan is about to end, so you can purchase a new eSIM. Since, the eSIM is data only, the experience will stay the same.

2. How can I access my eSIM after deleting or losing it?

The QR and activation code are available in the app and sent to you via email. If needed, you can also request a code through customer support, online chat. eSIM deleted after installation will not be reusable since eSIMs are for one time use only.

3. Is it necessary to activate data roaming on my device?

Yes, all eSIMs are for roaming only, so you’ll need to enable data roaming for the best coverage after setting up your Superhero eSIM.

4. Does Superhero eSIM offer high-speed internet?

You can connect to 4G LTE, and 5G speeds similar to local data lines. However, if you’re traveling to remote locations, you might experience poor coverage.

5. Can I use my WhatsApp number with an eSIM?

Yes, most eSIM devices support dual SIM functionality, allowing you to continue using WhatsApp and your primary number without interruption. Using an eSIM will not affect your conversations or contacts, as it is only used for data.

6. How will I get my eSIM?

Your eSIM is available instantly in the app & web, and sent to you via email. Follow the on-screen instructions in my eSIM section or email to install the eSIM.

7. Can I use eSIM on my iPhone?

Yes, iPhones from the Xs onward support eSIM, but your device must be carrier-unlocked. Some devices from Mainland China or Hong Kong only support physical SIMs and don’t support eSIM. To confirm, go to Settings > Mobile Service and check if there’s an ‘Add eSIM’ option.

8. Can I use eSIM on my Android phone?

You can find which Android devices offer eSIM compatibility by going to Network section & check for add eSIM option.

9. Can I call and send SMS with Superhero eSIM?

Superhero eSIM provides data only. You can use WhatsApp or similar apps to send messages and make calls. The eSIM is not associated with a mobile number, so you can't send SMS.

10. How long does my data plan last?

You start to consume your data plan as soon as you activate data roaming on your cell phone. So, if you purchased a 30-day plan, you will have 30 days' worth of data after activating your eSIM (not installing it).

11. My trip got canceled, can I get a refund?

Superhero eSIM offers its customers a 30-day money-back guarantee. If your trip got canceled or you bought an eSIM without checking device compatibility, you can submit a request for a refund within 30 days. The request may take 5 to 10 days to process. If you are interested in canceling your eSIM, you can get in touch with Customer Support for more information.

12. Can I use a physical SIM and eSIM at the same time?

Yes, you can use an eSIM and a physical SIM simultaneously. If your device supports eSIM, you can choose which SIM to use as the primary for calls and texts, and which one for data. Both will work at the same time.

13.How can I check how much data is left on my plan?

The Superhero eSIM app & web organizes all the necessary information regarding your data plan, such as how much data you have left & previous eSIMs.

14. What is a good time to set up eSIM?

You should install your eSIM before departure. While installation can be done after you arrive, you’ll need Wi-Fi to complete the setup, so it’s best to do it before you leave. Activate data when you arrive at your destination; it will start working immediately, and data consumption will begin from that point.

15. How do you set up eSIM?

1. Make a purchase on the Superhero website.

2. Check email for QR code.

3. Go to Settings > Mobile/Cellular Data > Add Data Plan.

4. Scan the QR code.

5. Set up a name for the data plan.

6. Switch between eSIM and physical SIM.

7. Upon arrival, turn on data roaming and activate Superhero data plan.

16. How much data does my eSIM provide?

Superhero eSIM offers different bundles to its customers to pick from. Each bundle comes with enough data for the duration of your trip.

17. Can you use eSIM data on other devices?

You can use your eSIM device as a hotspot. So if your phone is eSIM compatible, you can turn on your hotspot and connect to internet on your laptop.
